web deisgns etc (opening page)
hi there all...here are just a few designs that i'm working on to establish style of the web site. here are a few images. what do you think? there are a few different styles but before i do more i'd like opinions
i like the first design, but i don't like the decorative type used for magpie, it's too... fancy?
i really like the second design (maybe without the shadow though) as if the page is flash-based, you could click on each section and it could 'grow' into the content for each bit. i think it's got potential to look real good.
i agree with alex on the first design's type seeming too 'fancy' and agree with Kboy ont he one with the b/w daff :) its intricate and careful without being too complicated.

these designs are interesting, i like them. What does everyone else think? because we'll need to change them soon if not.
also think the logo has to be simlar/same to design, in typeface maybe, other it could look like to seperate things.
i think a flash-based website would be good.

i agree, i like the second. but also think the black&white daff in the fourth works quite well.
